The drawing presents works of art that can be found in Warsaw. For me, art in a big concrete city can play the role of communing with nature. Watching art reminds me of going to the forest and focusing on something phenomenal, often unknown, almost as an ornithologist observing birds. That is why I mixed the works of artists with species of birds and greenery found in Warsaw. Pieces of art are like plants and animals that we should look after.
Q: Why was the cover of the first Polish edition of Vogue in the spectrum of your interest?
A: Vogue’s cover appeared in the drawing as a phenomenon that soon after its publication began to live its own life on the Internet, like a well-known work of art. I decided that it would perfectly bond the central part of the drawing composition.
