Q: Is there any typically-Łódź phenomenon that people who come from other cities and countries should know?
A: I’d certainly recommend going to the museum of cinematography – Art Inkubator, where every year, in June, the brilliant FotoFestival takes place (fotofestiwal.com). During the festival, the whole city turns into a work of art. Nearby, is the Księży Młyn estate which is worth going for a walk. And of course, go for a coffee break to the National Film School.
