Born in 1990, studied Photography at the National Film School in Łódź. One of the most iteresting young, Polish artists. He mainly practices staged photography, which gives the opportunity of creating “ideal”, imaginary worlds. Each part of the set is precisely arranged and the photographs are created without manipulating the image or trick photography. The artist uses editing programs only for basic retouching and color correction. Wysocki’s works present juxtapositions of artistic elements such as shapes, textures, shades of colors. In combination with soft light and fixed positions of the characters, images are created without a trace of typical means of expression such as depth of field, multiplicity of shots, a decisive moment or accidental behavior of the characters. Wysocki’s photographs escape limitations of one medium and remain between staged photography and painting.
