FAQ Frequently asked questions

  1. Can I order something special to make my stay unique?

    Bouquet of flowers, bottle of wine or Champagne, strawberries in chocolate, fresh fruits… those are few of extras which can make your stay exceptional. Feel free to contact us to set all details!

  2. Can I book Tripple Room?

    Unfortunately no, but we can adapt our suite for three people stay (extra daily fee 120PLN), we have also adjoining rooms. Please contact us to arrange all details.

  3. Do you have smoking rooms?

    It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the whole hotel.

  4. How can I spend my free time in the hotel?

    You will find many interesting books, iPads and board games in our hotel lobby. You can also borrow PS3/XBOX and bikes for free! (available on request).

  5. Can I park at the hotel?

    PURO Hotel Kraków offers a secure underground car park with 18 places.
    The daily rate for parking is PLN 80.

  6. How do I get to the hotel?

    PURO Hotel Kraków is located in the city centre, 10 minutes walk from the Main Square. Main train and bus stations are only 5 minutes walk away.  From Kraków airport it takes a car or taxi about 30 minutes to the city centre, or if you make the trip by fast direct train it takes about 17 minutes.

  7. Do you provide a shuttle service?

    Unfortunately not, but we cooperate with local taxi services – our concierge will be happy to arrange a transfer for you.

  8. Are there any extra fees?

    Breakfast – unless included in the room rate - is 50 PLN per person. Using the hotel’s car park costs 80 PLN per night.

  9. Can I come with a child / can I have an extra bed in my room?

    Yes, we provide baby/cots for children under 3 years old free of charge.

  10. Will I receive confirmation when I book?

    Yes, it will be sent to your email account automatically.

  11. How do I cancel my reservation?

    You need to log in to your account, enter your reservation reference together with your surname and then follow instructions.

  12. I forgot my password for log in – what do I do?

    Simply email us at krakow@purohotel.pl and we will send you a new one.

  13. What is the check in / check out time?

    Check-in 3.00 pm, check-out 12.00 noon.

  14. Where can I find the best room rate?

    All of the best rates can be found on our website.

  15. Which credit cards do you accept?

    We accept VISA, MasterCard, Diners Club, JCB, American Express, Maestro.

  16. Why do I need to check-in myself?

    For self check-in is required only reservation number. You do not remember the number? No problem, our host always assist at check-in.

  17. Will I receive a receipt?

    Yes, it will be sent directly to your email address.

  18. How many hotel-rooms offer disabled access?

    2 of our rooms have been specially designed and adapted to provide high-quality access for disabled guests.

  19. Can I bring a dog to stay in the hotel?

    Yes, you can, dogs are very welcome. Additional daily fee is 40 PLN.

  20. Can I leave my luggage somewhere?

    Yes! The luggage room is on “0” floor near the PURO front desk.

  21. Do you provide room service? Can I order food in my room?

    Room service is available from the tablet in your room.

  22. How can I make a phone call outside the hotel / abroad?

    You can use the tablet in your room to do this by pressing the ‘Phone’ icon.

  23. How much are phone calls?

    They’re free! (daily limit apply).

  24. Is there a restaurant at Puro Kraków?

    Restaurant and brasserie DYSTRYKT ONE is open from 12:00 noon until 22:30 and is located on “0” floor just next to the front desk.

  25. Is there air conditioning in the room?

    Yes, and you can control it.

  26. What facilities do you provide in the room?

    All rooms feature well equipped shower-rooms and work spaces. There is a 40’ LED smart TV providing hotel information and services. A touch-operated tablet lets you to control air conditioning, lighting or phone calls. Your room devices will let you order room service, find out what is happening in the city and much more.

  27. How much is a taxi?

    It obviously depends on when and where you would like to go. An indication would be:

    - Transport from the Airport 105 PLN
    - Transfer from the Hotel to the Airport – 85 PLN
    - Kazimierz – Jewish District – approx. 25 PLN
    - Main Market Square – approx. 15 PLN
    - Auschwitz-Birkenau – 460 PLN (round trip)
    - Salt Mine – 260 PLN(round trip)
    - Zakopane (Tatra Mountains) – 680 PLN (round trip)
